Dr. Robert S. Parker

Associate Dean for Graduate Education, Swanson School of Engineering; Professor, Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering

As the inaugural Associate Dean for Graduate Education in the Swanson School of Engineering (having just taken on this role in early 2020), I am focused on building community within our school and across our Departments and Programs. The challenges that come with graduate study are made easier, in my experience, by having a supportive group of fellow graduate students and faculty mentors to inspire new advancements in engineering, science, and for humanity’s benefit.
