Isaiah is a predoctoral associate student in the industrial engineering department at the University of Pittsburgh. He joins the University of Pittsburgh from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he majored in Aerospace Engineering. There, he had the privilege to work within the University Consortium for Applied Hypersonics and apply machine learning concepts to other engineering concepts. He is bringing a depth of knowledge and experience in the areas of public policy and engineering, and he hopes to build upon this knowledge by exploring how artificial intelligence can bridge the gap between social issues and technology. He is extremely excited to be at the University of Pittsburgh and excited for what the future holds.
