Nick Thomas

Research Interests

Nick Thomas is a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Bioengineering and minoring in Chemistry. He has been working at the NTE lab since October 2008, working with graduate students Erdrin Azemi and Trevor Sleight. Nick was selected for an Undergraduate Fellowship in Neural Computation through the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition in June of 2009. His research interests include microelectrode surface modification and computational neuroscience analysis. In addition to his usual duties, Nick is involved in assisting during surgical procedures. He looks forward to his further work in the NTE lab and the possibility of medical school.
