My research interest in Brain-Computer Interface developed during the clinical rotation as an intern doctor. Pioneer BCI studies have demonstrated its potential in neural rehabilitation. But the Foreign Body Response at the Tissue-Electrode Interface remains one of the most challenging obstacles before a chronically stable solution can be applied in clinical neural rehab. My long term goal is to facilitate the translation of Neural Interface research to clinical application.
