Dr. Persaud received her doctorate in education from the Pennsylvania State University. She has invested over 20 years in higher education, specifically in retaining academically at-risk students. Her career has spanned the schools of engineering across Penn State, Carnegie Mellon University and Pitt’s Swanson School of Engineering. She has developed a retention model for SSoE that is supported with evidence-based data from students’ end of term academic outcomes.
