Why
you chose Pitt:
I wanted a school that
not only supported, but fueled, innovation. With an entire Innovation
Institute, and plenty of makerspaces in Benedum, I knew Pitt would help me
uncover my potential (and it has!).
Advice
to a First Year Engineering Student:
Keep an open mind, build
something, and actively pursue passions outside of engineering. Join as many
things as possible and expand your horizons: college is the best time to grow
as a person and become an adult!
Extracurricular
involvement and Future Goals:
I’m the chair of a
committee in Student Government which takes up nearly a dozen hours a week, and
I’m really involved in Innovation. I compete in the Randall Family Big Idea
Competition, and am currently pursuing my own startup based on a device I created
in the epic class Art of Making and have patented.
