The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers graduate study and research leading to the Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. Our programs build on a strong foundation of faculty-led research and close mentorship, preparing graduates for careers in industry, consulting, government, and academia.

Courses are offered in formats that accommodate both full-time and part-time students, including working professionals completing their degrees while employed.
Funding
A limited number of teaching and research assistantships - which include full tuition scholarships - are available each year. These awards are competitive, and consideration requires prior admission to the graduate program.
