About
SOAR Launch is the oldest competition team at SOAR. This group competes in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative (USLI), and competitions like it. For this competition, our team is responsible for designing, manufacturing, and testing high-powered rockets. Teams are scored on three technical reports to NASA, and their rocket’s ability to reach as close as possible to its target altitude. The rocket must also carry a robotic payload with its own dedicated mission each year.
