William Peralta
My name is William Peralta and I am a undergraduate researcher in the class of 2027 here at Pitt. I am a Industrial Engineering major and am also getting the international engineering certificate. I am also a TA in the IE department. I am currently working with Dr. Amin Rahimian to see how to preserve digital commons in the age of generative AI. Ever since the launch of these large language models, there has been an exit of users, especially novice, from knowledge commons such as Stack Overflow. My work will go over the consequences of this, and potential fixes to sustain these important online platforms.
