Ryan Odom
I am an undergraduate student in the Class of 2027 at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Applied Statistics. My academic and research interests center on using data analytics and machine learning to solve practical problems, especially in medical analysis and sports science.
I am currently working with Dr. Amin Rahimian to help revamp the IE 1171 “AI for Social Good” course by strengthening its integration of modern AI tools and applications. As part of this work, I am developing a machine learning image analysis tutorial designed to help students understand how AI can be applied responsibly to real-world visual data. Through this project, I hope to make technical AI concepts more accessible while connecting them to meaningful social-good applications.
