The Summer Engineering Academy (SEA) program enables scholars to make a smooth transition from high school to college. During SEA, scholars learn study skills essential for college and receive an intensive review of Chemistry, Calculus, Physics, Engineering, and Leadership skills. By attending this program students can prepare for success during the first year of college.

Objectives

Getting Involved

First year scholars interested in the program should electronically fill out the release form and commitment form and email the completed forms to excel@pitt.edu. Once the commitment and SEA Financial Release forms have been received, scholars will be reviewed and accepted scholars will receive email correspondence including the cost of the program and further instructions. All required forms are available on the Downloads Page and scholars will receive instructions for finalizing their involvement, including a Parental Authorization Form 2019 and a Photo Release Form (adult or minor photography consent forms), and a waiver to release educational records.
