I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Pittsburgh. Before joining the University of Pittsburgh, I was a lecturer in the Operations Research and Statistics Group at the MIT Sloan School of Management and a postdoctoral research associate in Operations Research and Statistics at MIT. I have obtained my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My research focuses on data analytics and operations research, particularly on data-driven decision-making, optimization, and machine learning. I develop new analytical tools, and I design machine learning and optimization methods to make informed decisions in various applications such as healthcare, business analytics, and supply chain management. On the education side, I have been focused on teaching data analytics and operations research to a wide variety of Undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. students.
