Why did you choose Pitt? 

I chose Pitt before I was really certain about Chemical Engineering (most schools I just applied Chemistry). During the SSOE tour I got to listen to the panelist talk about the first-year program, co-op, and global experiences. I knew that I wanted to do all those things, and after my visit it became my first choice.

Advice for First-Year Engineering Students

Get to know upperclassmen by getting involved in student organizations (in and out of engineering). The support I received from NSBE and Pitt EXCEL got me through my first year and provided me with amazing opportunities!

Plans for the Future

After graduating I hope to do a MS in Chem Engineering or an MBA somewhere overseas. After that I hope to work as a chemical engineer in the Consumer Sector, preferably cosmetic products.
