Whether you are a student, faculty member, or researcher interested in joining our highly qualified workforce, or an industry or government partner who seeks to lead the development of novel technology enabling a new era of intelligent infrastructure, INSITES welcomes engaged and collaborative partners and offers several ways to get involved.
Industry, Government and Foundations
- Join INSITES as a member. Industry participation agreements are available now and the first memberships are being established this fall, with member-funded research beginning in 2027.
- Partner with the INSITES Consortium by submitting the Contact Us form in the footer or emailing insites@pitt.edu
- Support prospective projects through direct funding, equipment and supplies, advisory roles, and more.
- Join events and workshops including the annual UPISC workshop.
- Learn about our active projects and seed research thrusts

UPISC Workshop
Attend our annual UPISC workshop. The 2026 workshop took place June 2–3 at the Energy Innovation Center. The 2027 workshop is planned for summer 2027 (date to be determined). To be put on our distribution list to be the first to learn about it, contact us at insites@pitt.edu.
