Mohit Singhala

Mohit Singhala, PhD serves as a Research Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at UPMC, leading the innovation efforts in the CREATES lab with Dr. Peter L. Santa Maria and Dr. Carl Snyderman.

Mohit also serves as the Assistant Director of Global Engineering, at Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign, Stanford University in an adjunct capacity- building curriculum on design thinking and prototyping. He completed his PhD at Johns Hopkins, where he studied haptics and medical robotics, building custom electromechanical testbeds to quantitatively assess how humans perceive touch.
