Fresh Eyes on Your Challenge
Do you run a nonprofit, community group, or government organization with a tough problem you want help tackling? Innovating for Public Impact connects you with student teams who will spend a semester working on your challenge.
Here’s what you can expect:
- A team of 3–5 students focused on your problem.
- Dozens of interviews with people connected to the issue to understand it deeply.
- Clear insights about what’s really needed and what stands in the way.
- A prototype or proposal for a solution shaped by real-world feedback.
You’ll gain new ideas, tested approaches, and the energy of rising leaders who bring curiosity and creativity to your challenge, all while helping them learn how to create meaningful change.
What we ask of sponsors:
- Define a challenge – Share a real problem your organization is facing. We will help you scope it to get the most out of the semester.
- Provide context – Offer background materials and a list of ~10 stakeholders.
- Engage with students - join for periodic check-ins or presentations, set aside 1 hour/week on average
- Be open to ideas – Encourage exploration of new perspectives and approaches.
- Support the experience – Serve as a thought partner while students do the legwork.
