Yucheng’s research focuses on how brain circulation changes with age and contributes to Alzheimer’s disease. By combining advanced imaging and computational modeling, she investigates how age, sex, and genetics influence blood flow and immune cell responses in the brain. Her goal is to uncover how subtle microvascular changes translate into large-scale disruptions in brain function, providing new insights into early disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.
