Saba Gharooni Khorrami
Saba’s research focuses on neurovascular and neurometabolic coupling in epilepsy, particularly how metabolic reserve and voluntary exercise shape seizure-induced dysfunction using multimodal wide-field optical imaging and electrophysiology. More broadly, she is interested in advancing optical neuroimaging methods, including two-photon excitation imaging, to better understand brain network resilience in epilepsy and neurological disease. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her dog.
