Tyler Smith

Tyler Smith is a senior pursuing his B.S. In Mechanical Engineering with certificates in nuclear engineering and engineering simulation in design. Outside of school, Tyler is a co-op student at Curtiss-Wright EMD, having completed 2 rotations as of Summer 2026. He is also the 12lb battle bots project lead in the Pitt Robotics and Automation Society. Tyler is proficient in Ansys APDL structural and acoustic modeling as well as programming in MATLAB and Microsoft VBA.
