David Hersick

David Hersick is a Senior undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Materials Science and Engineering. Throughout his academic career, he has gained experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, MATLAB, and C. David joined the RARE lab in order to get a better understanding of risk assessment, especially when it comes to the Nuclear Industry. His research is supported by the 2026 Summer Undergraduate Research Internship (SURI) program of the Swanson School of Engineering.
