Two Postdoctoral research positions are currently available in Professor Prashant N. Kumta’s Nanomaterials for Energy Conversion & Energy Storage Technology (NECST) Laboratory, Department of Bioengineering, Swanson School of Engineering, at the Energy Innovation Center in the University of Pittsburgh.

Interested candidates with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Chemistry or Electrochemistry discipline with proven expertise in electrochemistry, lithium-ion battery materials synthesis, materials and electrochemical characterization, electrode fabrication and testing as well as electrocatalysts and electrocatalysis for electrochemical water splitting and proton exchange membrane (PEM) based hydrogen fuel cells fabrication, membrane electrode assembly generation and testing are encouraged to apply for the position.
