U.S. News recognized Pitt in its Best Undergraduate Research/Creative Projects ranking for the first time, rating our scholars’ work at No. 32.

"It is both important and affirming that Pitt has been recognized for the first time in this ranking,” said Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor Joe McCarthy. “The exceptional and ever-increasing opportunities Pitt offers for our undergraduate students as they stretch their growing knowledge and abilities in both research and creative spaces are key to our educational mission."

Pitt engineering and innovation received accolades, too: Undergraduate biomedical engineering and industrial/manufacturing engineering were ranked for the first time, at Nos. 28 and 17, respectively, while Pitt landed at No. 63 on the Most Innovative Schools list.

Overall, Pitt ranked 70th among all universities. See the Pitt rankings here.
