John Karish
John Karish is a 1973 petroleum engineering graduate of Pitt and is currently retired. He has worked for BP and its legacy companies for 25 years in a variety of roles and global locations (6 continents). Assignments included drilling engineering/operations, technical auditing and leadership development. During the last 15 years of his career, he was the Corporate Director of HSE for Ensco plc, an international offshore drilling contractor, based in Dallas and Houston, with global responsibilities. John has also been very active in both the SPE (Legion of Honor) and the IADC – including various awards, conference program committees and manuscript submissions.
