Dan Christenson
Dan Christenson serves as Director in the Renewable Fuels group at NextEra Energy Resources, where he leads the development of renewable natural gas (RNG) and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) projects. In this role, he advances low-carbon fuel pathways by coordinating engineering and commercial activities and guiding multidisciplinary teams through project development and contracting. Prior to joining NextEra Energy Resources, he spent nearly two decades with Air Liquide and Airgas, where he held a range of technical and commercial positions supporting industrial gas technologies and emerging clean energy applications, including early hydrogen energy and mobility initiatives. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE), a nonprofit organization dedicated to organ, tissue, and cornea donation. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Gannon University.
