In this day and age with the success rate of getting a grant funded sitting at between 10 and 20% it is evident that grant funding is not as easy to come by as it once was. Currently, many faculty members need to look at new agencies for funding opportunities that they never would have considered in the past.  Additionally, it can be quite a daunting task as a new Assistant Professor to try to find the adequate funds to start your research program.

The Swanson School of Engineering (SSOE) is proud to offer an opportunity for its faculty members to learn about particular grant application mechanisms through its innovative Grant Writing Workshops Sessions.  Workshops offered are designed with faculty schedules in mind, so that they can cover the most amount of material in the shortest commitment of time. These workshops are also very interactive in nature and developed so that at the end of a session the faculty member will have material that could be directly applied within a grant application.  Most importantly, these workshops are designed to be FUN!

There are currently no workshops scheduled. Future grant writing workshops available through the SSOE will be listed below when available.
