Dr. Miller's research interests focus on human motion and related health problems, including all mechanical aspects of orthopaedic surgery, with an emphasis on problems of the elbow, especially those related to overhand throwing. The kinematics of the elbow and the behavior of the soft tissue connections at the elbow are topics of current research. Laboratory studies also include fixation with fracture repair, mechanical analysis of foot pathologies and repair of transected digital nerves.
