Friday, Sept 27, 2019 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Please see our flyer
The purpose is to introduce new and prospective students in our
Masters in Medical Product Engineering program to the variety of resources and
organizations in Pittsburgh which provide professional development, innovation
training and entrepreneurship opportunities to
students seeking careers in biomedical product development. The program will
also introduce you to the work of the CMI in developing collaborations among
clinicians and engineers to apply advanced technologies to unmet needs in
biomedicine. CMI sponsors a competitive program to fund early stage concepts
and to advance them along a path to commercialization.
There will be opportunities to network with innovative faculty
in engineering and medicine, representatives of entrepreneurship programs at
the University of Pittsburgh, and industry partners who provide professional
experience for our students.
The attached flyer provides a program outline and link for RSVP (Partner RSVP | Student RSVP).
An agenda featuring an overview of invited speakers, sessions
and topics is also included.
For any additional information or questions, please feel free to
contact Erin Schuetz, CMI Program Assistant at firstname.lastname@example.org or 412-624-7279.
