Safe drinking water is essential to health, survival, growth, and development. Over 884 million people worldwide do not currently have access to clean drinking water.


Our Mission: 

  •  To engage students of all disciplines in service learning experiences that provide support to NGOs engaged in developing sustainable local businesses that manufacture low-cost ceramic water filters in poor communities around the world.  

 Our Research: 

  • When investigating water filters as physical systems we are concerned with manufacturing and its effect on internal structure and properties.
