Research Interests

The focus of my research has been the influence and development of specialty materials science within the growing field of neural interface. A very broad variety of neuroelectrical techniques possess an engineering foundation rooted in biomaterials science, from clinical electroencephalography to high resolution intracortical recording. I intend to apply my experience in polymers and biomaterials engineering into the development of exciting new components for the next generation of neuro-electrical interface devices. My primary specialties lie within the fields of conducting polymer development, drug release, and materials degradation.
