The NTE Laboratory is located within the Biomedical Science Tower 3, a component of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center complex. This complex is located within Oakland, a borough of the city of Pittsburgh. Oakland is also home to the principal University of Pittsburgh campus, as well as Carnegie Mellon University.
