School Year Programming

Membership in INVESTING NOW involves a student commitment to attend year-round programming from ninth through twelfth grade. All students are involved in hands-on science experiences, career awareness and college planning seminars, academic advising sessions, and cultural activities. Students who have less than a B in mathematics or science classes are required to attend an hour per subject of individual or small group tutoring each week. These sessions are conducted by successful University of Pittsburgh engineering, math, biology, chemistry or physics students. Optional tutoring is also available.

April:

4/18/2017 - Get Acquainted Night, ONLY New students and Families ONLY: 7:00 - 8:30 pm @ 157 Benedum Hall

May:

5/6/2017 - FEM Group Meeting (All Grades-Females Only-Optional): 1:00 - 4:00 pm @ 102 Benedum Hall

5/13/2017 - Career Awareness (Grades - 8,9,10,11 and Families are welcome): 9:30 am - 12:30 pm @ G23 Public Health Building (the building with the sculpture in front)

6/6/2017 - Senior Recognition Dinner (Grade 12 & Family): 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm @ University Club - Ballroom A

6/20/2017 - Summer Kick off Meeting (ONLY! Rising Grades 9,10,11): 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm @ G23 Public Health Building (the building with the sculpture in front)

6/26-7/27/2017 - Summer Program (Grades 9,10,11): All programs in Benedum Hall
