Currently, only the top 10 – 20% of grants are funded by the NIH. This leaves the question, what can you do as a Principal Investigator in order to make your research proposal stand out of the crowd. Join us for an interactive workshop that will help you take your R01 application to the next level.
1. Define the mission of NIH and list the centers that most directly apply to your research interests
2. List the steps that your R01 application will go through between submittal and decision notification
3. Itemize key tips that will help make your R01 application stand out in the NIH Peer Review process
4. Critique a specific aims section of an R01 application utilizing NIH Peer Review Guidelines
Registration is appreciated but not required
