2016 Submission Information for Students

Step 1: Call for Papers

Step 3: Annotated Outline

  • Annotated Outline due Friday, February 12, 2016, by 8 pm.
  • Guide to writing your Outline are in the Research guide
  • Advice to writing your Outline are in the Last minute tips.
  • Annotated Outline Evaluation form.
  • Library Tips for developing your Annotated Outline are in the Research guide.
  • Guide to help you with listing your references Research guide.
  • Your conference outline and paper must follow the Formatting guidelines for Microsoft Word.

Step 4: Submit your Paper for Review

  • Peer Review of papers. Assignment due Tuesday March 15, 2016
  • Check your Courseweb grades for your assigned paper number, then Download the paper.
  • Complete the Peer Review form. Guide to conducting your Peer Review are in the Review Form.

Information from the Writing Center

There are 17 faculty from the writing center that will be grading the writing assignment papers. Each ENGR0012 section will have a lead contact for the class, however, any of the following instructors might be grading your paper.

Each paper this semester will be written by a team of two students. You are permitted to team with any student in any of the ENGR0012 sections. Thus, if you are in the 10 am section and your partner is in the 2 pm section, then it is possible your paper might be graded by either the 10 am or 2 pm lead writing instructor. However, it is also possible that your paper will be graded by one of the other writing center faculty members. You can contact all of these instructors at the University Writing Center . The instructors are:
