There are 18 faculty from the writing center that will be grading the writing assignment papers. Each ENGR0012 section will have a lead contact for the class, however, any of the following instructors might be grading your paper.

Each paper this semester will be written by a team of two students. You are permitted to team with any student in any of the ENGR0012 sections. Thus, if you are in the 10 am section and your partner is in the 2 pm section, then it is possible your paper might be graded by either the 10 am or 2 pm lead writing instructor. However, it is also possible that your paper will be graded by one of the other writing center faculty members. You can contact all of these instructors at the University Writing Center . The instructors are:

Beth Bateman Newborg,
Director, English/Freshman Engineering Writing Program
Amanda Brant Keely Bowers Janine Carlock
Michael Cornelius Barbara Edelman Libby Ferda
Emelyn Fuhrman Deb Galle Nancy Koerbel
Katy Rank Lev Julianne McAdoo Tyler McAndrew
Dan Mcmillan Rachel McTernan Renee Prymus
Josh Zeleznick Jane Zellmann

You can contact all of these instructors at the University Writing Center.

Teaching Assistants:

There are several teaching assistants associated with this course. The TAs are there to provide assistance during class, grade the homework assignments and quizzes and answer most questions. The TA's will be holding office hours for one-on-one tutoring in room BEH B02 during the week. For a copy of the room B02 schedule click here. If you need help with anything (particularly programming problems), you should begin by asking your teammates, then direct your questions to your TA, or your professor. All of us are here to help.

Office Hours:

Your TAs are available in room B02 Benedum for a copy of the office hour schedule click here.
